Fixed-point existence assumption checker

Family 328: Nonexpansive fixed points in reflexive Banach spaces. First review, 9 October 2026 Australia/Brisbane.

Problem and potential new use

Modeling researchers can record whether a nonexpansive map on a bounded closed convex set meets the stated existence conditions.

Applicability and commercial boundary

Fixed-point existence is not convergence of naive iteration or a polynomial-time fixed-point solver. Reflexivity and exact nonexpansiveness require independent evidence.

Initial business decision

Research infrastructure. Commercial demand and profitability remain hypotheses.

Next verification action

Find a concrete map and compare the existence theorem with a separate convergence theorem before any solver proposal.

Evidence scope

The catalog statement was individually reviewed. Main-paper and selected formal-scope passages were additionally inspected for families 090, 093, 094, 097, 325, 328 and 332; this record does not claim a full proof audit or independent Lean verification.
